Yes :) Also because I live close to the Derby hospital I get my travel costs to community placement returned even if it is still in Derby :)

I've got my appointment yesterday. I sent my occupational health stuff off at Christmas so it's taken about 6 weeks. All the letter says is it's a pre employment health screening, whatever that means.
Hope this helps and congratuations on getting your place:)

How do you find travelling to/from Nottingham for theory? Is it a pain or fairly easy? xx

Applying for accommodation at Lonsdale Hall is such a farce! Turns out you have to send in a manual form (which is NOT easy to find!!) so if anyone else is struggling, here's a link to the form... http://www.derby.ac.uk/files/notts.pdf
    :) xx

Cos we're not on the Derby system so we can't do it via their website. I rang them up today to ask and she said I had to fill in a form... ooh also, we only get the choice of standard plus or large standard plus! Ahh yes so you did! It went well, she went through a form asking about family history and things like that. Then she went through my vaccines, then she checked my eyesight (bossed it), checked to see if I was colour blind and if I could read (bossed it again ;) ) Then she did my blood pressure and took my blood. And that's it! I was only there 25 mins. :)
I've just printed the accommodation form out now.. eee. :D
