    Re: Dissertation Topic.

I've chosen third stage of labour (original eh?) doing the historical up to present day (inconsistent) management, also including chapter on timing of cord clamping/cutting and a chapter on what women are saying-on pregnancy websites, and what the mother and baby etc mags are saying/advising to determine why woemn now seem to be requesting physiological 3rd stage and/or to leave the cord till its stopped pulsating, its a mindfield I can tell ya, I'm really struggling with it at the mo, I'm bogged down with sooooooo many articles that I keep pressing print when I see em.
Good luck with yours, I chose this topic as its my bugbare, I was going to do nuchal cord, as thats another bugbare grrr (infact I may just have to mention it in there somewhere).
Hope you get lots of ideas on here, I think antenatal education is a good topic aswell as there isn't any anymore is there?
    xx

    Dissertation

Please don't be too jealous of me, because I know everyone loves writing essays, but I have the joy of having to write a dissertation.

Am doing it on obstetric outcomes for teenagers and wondered if anyone had any research articles?! From my literature search there seems to be some from foreign countries :eek:fftopic: but not much British research!!

    Help!

    Re: Dissertation

There is loadsa just in Myles and Mayes but you have to really sift through, it might be better changing the serach term possibly, I'm not sure though.

Its typical that there isn't much on it from Britain, but there always seems to be stuff on experiences, breastfeeding and statistics in general doesn't there?

Has DoH not got any links from there site? xx
