    Hello everyone :)

I am aware that universities require evidence of recent study over last three years. My question is if a access course was to be taken sep 12 is the three years counted on from when access started or finished ?

Also if you did a access course and didn't apply within that time frame then what sort of additional study can you do to show your evidence of recent study (if that makes sense)

    Does anyone know?
Thank you all in advance x

evidence of study needs to be within three years prior to the start of the degree so say most access courses finish in june & you finished next year, you would need to started the degree by the sept2014/march2015 intake.

if you already meet the entry requirements, in most cases just a short course with the OU is sufficient to show recent study. Xx

no worries hun - it's a lot to get your head around i know!

as it stands you would apply next year when UCAS opens in september ready to start the course the following year. you would need to start the degree in september 2014 (or potentially spring 2015 depending on the uni & their intakes) & that would keep you within that 3 year recent study period. if you were to apply in september 2014 to start the degree in 2015 then you would need to do more study.

you would need to get in touch with the admissions team at the time to see what would be enough - with the ever-changing requirements it's impossible to say what will be accepted in a few years time. Xx
