i thought it might be quite useful to have a list of the examinations boards, which areas they cover & info on how you can apply for certificate replacements - as i know there are lots of you who will need them if you have lost your original certificates and are unsure how you need to go about doing so.. It may also be an option (and cheaper) to contact your old school. This is what did, I had my record of acheivement with my grade on, got my old school to stamp it and this was good enough for uni. It's worth checking - look after the pennies eh? ;) xx

no problem girls, just thought it would be useful to have it all in one place!

yeah definitely check with ur old school if possible - some uni's will accept that, although schools are not required to keep copies of the results after 12 months so if u have no record at all then it probably wont be the case.

also, if u did ur exams with AQA take note about the bit where u can get a statement of results sent directly to ur uni for about £20 less than getting it issued to urself!

thanks for stickying ip :D Xx

hi everyone...just a quick question...I did my GCSE'S in 2000, have since done my Psychology degree,,,a long shot but do you think the University (UWE) would be happy with just my degree and A-LEVEL certificates as I needed my maths and english at grade C to do these in the first place...?? xx

to be honest hun, i think u will still need to supply ur GCSE certificates - most, if not all, uni's are very strict on seeing & documenting them. perhaps get in touch with UWE to clarify though hun just in case :) Xx

    Hey :)
I finished school 2 years ago and my certificates are at my Dad's house, unfortunately we have nothing to do with eachother at the moment, when do universities want your certificates? I'd like to leave it as long as possible before i have to get mine redone just in case me and my Dad begin talking again, is it just when you enroll?
    Thankyou x
