I'm coming straight from college too :) and yea I'm looking for the flat option in the Barnes halls, I've been told that's the only option which they will put us in and at the visit day I went to the nursing talk as my friends going to Keele for nursing and the lecturer told me they group health people together, and often people do car shares or take it in turns to drive up to the CEC or to placements, which I would definitely be up for, providing I have past my test and have my car before September (fingers crossed :p) I'm so excited! Are you taking Alevels or another qual? xxx

might have to hitch a ride with you then! aha! I rang Keele and they said the 51 week option for the flat will be available to us 'freshers' and that they will be updating the information on the website. Should cost around £3800 or so. Yeah i'm doing a levels - Geography, English and Biology. what about you?

I would deffo do the car share thing, and I hope I have a car by then! I originally thought it was about £5000 but then read a flyer which said £3500. So it's not as expensive as I once thought. I'm so excited! I'm doing Alevels too :/ biology, maths and psychology. I did chemistry last year. xx

Considering most accommodation types above 37 weeks aren't available for freshers, I suppose 51 week basic flats at £3887 is our only option, not that its a bad thing with them being 4 people per - apparently you can choose to share a flat with friends, I hope my friends get in Keele if not it seems unlikely il be placed with other midwives but maybe nurses - preferably people who never ever shower so I have it all to myself (thats reasonable, right?) oh and atleast one must be willing to be a best freind and happen to drive to the cec every morning.

Anyone for the March open days?

Want to put Keele as my first choice but I think my head of year will kill me for doing it so soon (ppftt) it's not like I have any other choice this is my only offer anyway, don't understand her logic at all :p got an interview at BCU on the 7th but I'm still pretty set on keele they'll have to bring out the big guns to have any hope of changing my mind :p Can't wait to just go now and be around like-minded people seen as most of my friends now don't get why I want to do this at all, they all thik I'm insane. anyone else get that?

They had laptops set up with the links on to do it. You can apply to it now via thier webiste, but don't worry you don't need to put down a deposit or anything like that :p x
