Hi there. I have searched the forum but can't seem to find a King's 2012 applicants thread, even though pretty much every other university has one. I thought I would start this one, as King's is my first choice.

So, a thread to share the journey on. For those who have already applied, I assume you have received the "myApplication" portal email from King's. Exciting, non? Here's to lots of selection days to follow.

    A bit about me:

Boobz, 1st time applying, 2 children (and another on the way), 32 years old and living in Sudan.

(Feel free to copy and paste and add your own details, so we get a list going and everyone can see who everyone else is!)

So glad someone set this thread up, I've been looking for one for ages!! I'm applying for the first time this year, straight from sixth form :D Went to the open day and LOVED it!! I'm just worried about the cost of living in London?? I come from the smallest village ever (in the middle of nowhere!!)....I'm so excited to apply though :) Almost finished my PS, just waiting for school to review it then send send send :) xxx

I'm 21 and a first time applicant for Midwifery. I'm not holding out much hope of getting in to Kings but it'd be amazing if I did! Good luck everyone xx

When I was at the open day they said they had 80 places, however this may be midwifery and nursing places combined as it does seem very high??!! Hope this helps :) xx

That's good then, as most uni's i've looked at only have between 30-50. Although Kings did say that they had about 20 applicants for each place so I know competition will be fierce :(...

So are you starting at Kings this year? xx
