    Hi there
do not know if this will help, but i am staring the LEAP in September and will have completed my access to HE in general studies this July!!

The course was recomended by the admission staff at Wolves when i failed my Maths but passed my English tests upon applying to them in 2010 for Midwifery degree starting this September!!!

So i do not see why it is not an option for you? You will only be applying to complete it part time though if you already have recent A-levels or G.C.S.E's...i have not been in formal education for nearly 20 years when i started my acces in September 2009, so i needed to do general studies to ensure i had covered Maths and English....i got interviews with Cov, Stafford and tests for Wolves with what i have covered and am covering in my final year...just be a bonus for me to complete the LEAP as well. Plus with the LEAP, when you apply to Wolverhampton for most Health related degree courses there is no sitting the Maths and English tests, you are guarenteed an interview too..inclusive of ALL nursing and Midwifery degree's!

The deadlline for application has passed this year though now, you have to apply by 28th March..

    Hope this might help you??
distance is not for me , as my family life is way to hectice, and i find going to college allows me to listen and understand the information in preperation for assignments and essays/exams ect. It depends upon the type of learner you are really. xxx ellen
