Sorry I couldn't help :( Does your fella work full time? Would it be possible for him to reduce his hours at all, cos sometimes, like others have said, you seem to be penalised for working hard. If he cut back on his hours, the income would be less and maybe your childcare would be too? I know it's quite often not possible with some jobs. My hubby couldn't reduce his and worked crazy long hours, so he quit that job so I could start the course, and will look for something part-time that fits in with childcare. It was a drastic thing to do and we had a cushion of savings, but once we got the bursary sorted, it made sense for us.

I really hope you can figure something out and I wish I could be more helpful xx

I just hope that you get more joy from looking into the other funding options, depending on what university you go to, they also have their own in-house funding strategy, like funder finder, you can only apply from the university but they set you up with a template letter which is then sent/forwarded on to all schemes you would qualify to apply for. Great news about the nursery fees. Would be so sad for you to have to quit your course. I know it's not ideal, but could you apply for any part time work, I start my community placement next week but have managed to get a shift for the next two sunday's (I work on the hospital bank) and it brings in someuch needed pocket money, a few hours work goes miles when your broke. Goodluck xx
