Hello everyone - so glad to have found this group :D. I have just celebrated my 47th birthday and have children aged from 8years to 20years. I'm currently doing an Access course and have applied to 5 uni's. Had interviews at Chester and Salford and got one at Bangor tomorrow (which I'm dreading!!!!!!!!!). Got a U from LJMU and decided to withdraw from Edge Hill before interview. This is my first time applying and to be honest I'm finding it all very stressful :-$. The waiting after interview is just pure torture!!!!!!!!! Well done to those with offers and good luck to everyone else. Take care xxx.

    hi everyone!

Just seen this thread and am delighted :)

I am 45 and have been offered a place at huddersfield :> ...still waiting for decisions after interview at salford and leeds and have final interview at bradford on 16th march.

Its been a roller coaster of emotions since starting the whole process......so excited but stress levels reached levels never known before. Think I have aged more in the last 12 months than at any other stage of my life.....and thats despite four kids, two kids and living in a madhouse:D

So good to know there are others in the same position. Where is everyone else going to be starting?

Its never, never too late to do what you want to do. Definitely an inspiring bunch
