    Just wondering if anyone has a good mechanism of labour acronym they would like to share??
    There is one about frogs, maybe in limosines???
    I can't remember it anyway.......

    For a normal mechanism of labour, in an OA position:

    Do Frogs In Canada Ride In A Pink Limo?
    Descent
    Flexion
    Internal Rotation (of the head - the occiput will rotate forwards to lie under the symphysis pubis directly in the AP diameter)
    Crowning
    Restitution
    Internal Rotation of the Shoulders
    Anterior Shoulder
    Posterior Shoulder
    Lateral Flexion

    (NB generally in all fours or upright positions, often see the posterior shoulder first, however)

    I wouldn't do anterior/posterior shoulder because I don't believe it is that way normally its just we SEE the anterior shoulder if they are semi recumbent
