DO you think that CTG's are overused? Or do you think we could use them in a more appropriate way?

I would like to know when the 4th edition will be released, Elsevier keep putting the date back!

as a subquestion to jellybean's question - whats an oxford CTG?

Do you feel CTGs undermine or support a woman's belief in her own body's capacilities to produce a healthy baby?
  4. Noo
I find the whole "typical" and "atypical" variable decellerations really difficult to get my head around as some old midwives still use the terms "early" and "late" which apparently we're not supposed to do. How would you recommend cementing difficult areas of CTG interpretation into one's mind?
