Just thought I'd start this thread for those starting at Middlesex in September 2012. It would be nice to get to know each other before we start and just share anything from anxieties to all the fun bits.

So let me start by saying hello ... I'm Tashini and look forward to this next chapter in my life :)

Hi Sarah ... I applied this academic year. Took redundancy from work to pursue my dream. I'm doing an Access course which is hard work but loving it. Just have to keep on track and get those grades now :)

Haven't had anything yet but maybe CRBs wont be done until we've accepted etc as they are expensive to undertake.

Hi, I'm Joanna. I have an offer from Middlesex and am going to have a look around the campus next week. I'm hoping that it will give me more of an idea what it would be like to be a student there and help me to make a decision! Congratulations for the offers! Have you all decided that Middlesex is your first choice? x

    Hello Joanna

Middlesex was my first choice as its local to me and I have been volunteering at North Middx maternity for a while. I have an interview at LSBU at Monday which I will attend as a girl always needs a reserve. You have done well with all your offers ...congrats :)

Thank you! Congratulations to you too! You must be so happy to have an offer from your first choice. I had a weeks placement at the Royal Free and would love to train there. All the midwives were really lovely. I hope LSBU goes well on Mon although it sounds like you won't need it :) x
