    Hi all,

I'm sure this is really odd, but I thought I'd share my birth video... It might be useful - I'm told it's a good example of how a baby rotates during the birth!

Excuse the very tired looking face afterwards - it was a great labour and birth experience but I was very ill during my pregnancy and very tired and dehydrated by the time I actually gave birth!

Anyway, here it is - it's VERY graphic so you have been warned! ;)

Yes, she was a student midwife (just a couple of weeks away from being newly qualified) and she was fantastic! Very hands off considering the circumstances!

    Awww what a lovely video!
I should find out how to share my VERY graphic video of my sons birth, i'm on all fours and it is also a good representation of the baby's shoulders turning. I'll ask my mum to send it to me and sort it.
Thank you so much for sharing!

This was baby #7... I'd previously had two hospital births induced with prostoglandin, one natural hospital birth, three home water births and this particular birth was a syntocinon (sorry I put pitocin to begin with - too many days spent talking to americans!) & controlled ARM induction...

That was fab, brought some big fat tears to my eyes for some reason! Probably because it was so natural and beautiful.
Out of curiosity, who was holding the camera?
Bless you, you looked knackered after. How long ago was this?

My independent midwife was holding the camera for us! I'm so grateful to her for everything she's ever done for me!

My baby (Robin) was born at the end of January 2010 - at 36+1 weeks!
