Thanks everyone. Had parents evening tonight and my very controlling father basically told me midwifery was beneath me. I know it's not and he is just being his uneducated self. I've decided that I don't care what he thinks and if I decide I want to do this eventually I will! Up his basically, not sure if I can say that on here but I have to I've had a terrible night!
I don't think I could take biology at a level, do you think that for 2014 entry I will need it? I know noone can predict the future but what you you think? My a levels are looking like: History, Spanish, Maths and Physics? What do you guys think? x

Honestly I think by 2014 far more unis will want biology yeah. But obviously it's not useful if you don't think you'd enjoy it or will not get a decent grade. If you could stand to take it, I think you should. Also, if you aren't taking biology I'd definitely take psychology! The unis that don't want science usually at least specific a social science. I think you're taking a risk by not taking biology or psychology. Some unis might offer places in 2014 without either but i think it's risky and you'll probably be limiting your uni options :/

Yeah, I know cutting biology will limit my midwifery options, but by the time applying comes around I may have changed my mind completly! so keeping my options open yet focused is important, if that makes sense? :L

Anyway thanks for the advice much appreciated! x
