I've got to loose weight! I read an article in the Readers Digest (my mum's copy) about high sugar content (eg carbs, fructose) triggering insulin production, and that the best way to burn fat is to limit your intake. Had thiss brought home to me yesterday when I realised I'd eaten 8 rounds of bread in one day! So am going to cut out refined carbs and see how that goes.

I don't have scales, don't want them. But I do want to drop at least 2 dress sizes by July.

Ohh, AP, I'd HAVE to know what I weighed at the start! You could always use boots scales once a month, just for your own record?

On the WW forums they talk about NSVs (Non Scales Victories- I think!) such as needing to use a belt, dropping a jeans size or rings falling off so that it's obviously not all down to what you weigh. Good luck. x

Oh dear me no!! I'd be terrified they'd start screaming "GET OFF ME NOW!!! I CAN'T BREATHE!! YOU'RE TOO HEAVY!!!!" Besides, at a size 12 I'm 11 and a half stone, so still technically obese I think, but I'd be happy to get myself into a 14 by the summer!

Count me in!! I have exactly one day less than a year before my wedding (booked today for new years eve 2012 in Jamaica!) and I have about 3 stone to lose!! I need to get cracking because I want to lose as much as possible by June/July so that I can go dress shopping!!

I was doing ww before Christmas but I'm going to do it on my home at home now to save money. I figure if a beach wedding and 2 weeks in a bikini isn't enough to motivate me, nothing will be!!

I'm jumping back on the diet bandwagon in the morning and will be back in the gym on Monday!!
