When qualifying and starting to apply for posts, what do you need to put in your personal statement. How can you make yours stand out from the crowd? Do any of qualified midwives have any pointers for those of us who are about to start this process?

just sell yourself... what skills do you have that would make you a bit different.... look at the job description and make sure you have what they are after.

if you did any assignments that are relevant to the post your applying for mention them.

Eek! Sorry, this is a really old thread and we don't advocate sharing of personal statements as if any is plagiarised, deliberately or accidentally, will cause a lot of issues and most likely be detected! I have edited the post to reflect this
