omg how much did i just have to stop myself crying at those births! Only just managed to watch it as couldn't find the episode before. The girl who was young as well, she only looked a little older than my daughter, i just wanted to hug her.

I know she was young and I hated how her mother treated her and made her sound like a ¤¤¤¤¤ sleeping around :( I wanted to hug her too X

Her mum drove me bonkers too... Her friend was AMAZING though! So supportive and sensible... IMO.she should have been cutting the cord not her mum... Who stayed by her side nd encouraged and supported her throughout?

I thought her friend was a great support too. She just had her friend's interests the whole time. I felt really sorry for the girl when she was saying when her mum arrived there 'they've said i've done really well' like she was trying to get her mum's approval and the midwife agreed she'd coped really well.
It's a shame the mum didn't appear to say to her 'yes you're doing brilliantly'.

She should've gave her some support regardless of how her daughter got pregnant, she should know herself that giving birth is no walk in the park..oh well at least the midwife was encouraging her :)

I agree the friend was amazing and also giving her good advice about waiting till he was born before calling the father as they had no contact through the whole pregnancy. Agree about the mum shouldn't of done the cord after her attitude x

I haven't experienced labour, but epilation is excruciating!!! Why on earth anyone would want the equivalent of a slow leg wax is beyond me...!

I have just watched this weeks OBEM and i have to say that i dont think it was as good as last weeks.

One thing i did love was @ the end when the midwife said something like..... for some women childbirth gives them confidence/makes them more confident.

I 100% :iagree: because i know that when i had my 1st something in me changed and i knew that i could do anything and anything was possible because i had bought her into the world and she was fine
