    If I book on the course and then get an interview for Brighton and the date is before the course, what would happen?

    Hi

    Was this was arranged last year in Brighton as well? I really feel like there is a want for this elsewhere, like anywhere north of Birmingham. I would consider travelling to Manchester or to Glasgow in order to attend. I feel that the advertising of such events to folk who might not be able to get there due to childcare or money restraints a real shame. Surely this must have been requested and thought about?

    Hi there,

    I know, I'm not trying to be a real nag here, but I live in the North East of England and Cardiff is equally as difficult for me to get to. I don't want to grumble, but I would love to be in the position to go to one of these events, I really would. I can only imagine the benefits it gives.
    It boils down to jealousy I guess, I'm sorry if I sound ratty.

    I understand what you're saying - I am also a Northerner. SMNET HQ is on the South East Coast, so Cardiff is pretty north for the EDGE team. They are looking at making links elsewhere, however, this takes time and meetings etc which of course is more difficult to organise if further away.

    I know I apologise, I'm applying for the second year and I'm out of college now 6 months and I just feel like I'm becoming out of the loop in terms of help with the actual interviewing and test techniques.

    I would be over the moon to attend one of these, it would be a perfect confidence booster.

    Hey ladies I'm a northern and traveled to Eastbourne for the applying and to Cardiff for the interview one and can honestly say it has helped me loads!!!! 4/5 interviews and 2 interview done feel very confident wih ;) worth every penny!!!!!! X

    I understand your frustrations vis a vis this course being held in the south only. It is in our plans to take the courses 'up north' but it just takes time to organise. For all of those who are unable to attend the courses due to logistics, there is always the 1-2-1 telephone interview that would also prove to be extremely beneficial (see here). Just a thought ......
