Im currently studying for the Access Course with the DLC and it is becoming increasingly difficult.
I seem to be having disagreements with my tutor (just not clicking with her) as I dont like the lack of support compared to a 'real' college. Studying this way is so hard and I have so much work to do.
I really dont think I can get all my credits in time without causing me tons of stress. I really think the way for me is to withdraw my application this year as I am still waiting from Herts and concentrate on this course and give myself an extension of a few months to get the better grades. The worst thing for me would be to get an interview, get accepted and not get through this course..It would kill me :(
Oh ladies, has anyone got any advice for me? xx

    Breeeeeeathe!

You're not the only one to feel like this. Distance learning is frustrating and can feel lonely. But you have us!

You can ask for a different tutor if you feel you're not jelling?

What units do you have left to complete?

    Im breathing!!!

Its not really my tutors fault but I never had disagreements with my first one lol
I have just started social interaction, got pyschopathology bio 1 and bio 2 to do!
I think if I worked non stop night and day until June its entirely possible but that is not fair on my family, or me!!!!!

    Its not possible! x

Hi, I'm at college studying access at the moment. It is tough but try and keep focused.
I agree with Wozza if your tutor doesn't suit you ask for another one.
there are lots of DLC threads use the support from others styudying via distance learing. I find the support from my fellow college buddies invaluable.
    You'll get there

I feel the same as you. I've been doing my access for ages because I've had to take breaks and I'm going for June moderation with 3 modules still to do including bio 1.
As wozza said you can change tutor.

I do roughly 5 hours a day if I can. Have four kids so it's hard to get peace and quiet to do it at times.
