    Hi,

I will be glad when I have finished bio, yes it is interesting but my drawing skills are pants and it takes me ages..it seems rather silly that i can do a 2000 word essay quicker than a few diagrams.

    Hi,
I spotted this thread and I had a horrid vision of when I was stuck in this exact same spot a year ago, I joined up to the DLC in the October and was so keen, yet very quickly I got stuck with Maths and fell at the first hurdle, I began putting the work off and had a little over 3 months submitting very little of the workload, by January I started to panic that I would not complete by June submission even though I had a conditional offer riding on it, I explored all these pages, cried (A LOT) and stressed but going to work (very fortunately on a maternity ward) having midwives give me huge support and encouragement to complete and a fabulous boss who arranged for me to have some time off having still 3 modules of Bio 1 and the whole of Bio 2 to do in 2 weeks before submission, I completed. Now I look at threads like these and although I feel sorry for all your ladies struggling, you smile that YOU got through it. Honestly, if you put everything you have into it, YOU too will be able to look back at these threads and smile. If however you choose to defer your access to enable you to de-stress and complete with more time on your hands, then that is also cool, you'll get there one way or another.xx

I am still in turmoil but I think I am going to just work as hard as I possibly can and reassess how I feel in a couple of weeks, I know I can do this but sometimes you just feel that its the tutors that hold us up.. All the waiting around for passwords and replys to emails.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write... You are very inspiring and its certainly motivating to hear you did it successfully. x

Hi chick, sorry only just noticed you has replied. I'm glad you sound all positive about it again, for now anyway, just plod on. Email me if I can give you any passwords, providing they haven't changed, I'll send them over to you, that used to annoy me when you were just pushing to get on and tutors took ages to reply back with just a password. Hope you will be posting in here to say "I completed!!" honest I remember how stressful, I lost a lot of blood sweat and tears over DLC. Anything to help.xxx

I have withdrawn ladies for this cycle. I have so much going on with family at the moment, rushing this access course is not an option...

I will reapply as soon as UCAS opens, and it'll be such a relief to know that my course should be finished!!!

Good luck to all you ladies that are plodding on, wish you every success!!!

    xxxxxxx
