    When writing like this do you say the name twice?

    Is this right...Klaus and Kennell define a bond as, ‘a unique relationship between two people that is specific and endures through time.’ (1982, 2)

    Or is this right... Klaus and Kennell define a bond as, ‘a unique relationship between two people that is specific and endures through time.’ (Klaus and Kennell 1982, 2)

    You only need the page number if its a direct quote. If you're paraphrasing then you just do what iolaus said.

    Also, at my uni in the reference list if there are more than 3 authors we have to name them all, not do et al (although in the body of the work we'd use et al).
