i SHOULD be working on A&P, but because I don't "officially" start until March 1st, I've kind of given myself a reprieve until then :p But because of that I haven't allowed myself to start reading anything new.

I have a 15 month old who keeps me pretty busy when I'm not working.

I'm finishing Chemistry as I applied with a midterm mark. I also lately read The Alchemist, by Paulo Coelho and loved it. Very inspiring, it's about following your dreams and calling. Gave me the strength to keep on when all the odds seem to be going against me.

I mentioned this in the blog, but I'm reading Having Faith by Sandra Steingraber which I really, really recommend.

Thanks elba for lending it to me!

I'm finishing up my last year (OMG!) at University of Toronto. I'm basically going to go insane over the next 6 weeks. I'm finishing up two thesis papers, and also doing a German Theatre class to finish up my minor, in which we're doing an adaptation of Dracula in German, and putting on four shows. Oh, and presenting my thesis at a Student Colloquium. It's going to be a nutty 6 weeks.

I'm not reading anything 'fun', mostly reading articles on LGBTQ Breastfeeding, and books about sexuality (as that's what I study), and writing a LOT. I'm pretty excited to be able to read some fiction after this semester is over though, so any recommendations are welcome! Also, I'm thinking about enrolling to do A&P at Ryerson this summer, anyone else?

I'm surprised no one has heard anything. Last year some people got their "on to stage 2" letters as early as Feb 7 on the portal... I hate waiting.

I got the same answer from Heather as well. I was hoping that maybe she was mistaken. I'll continue to check out my portal daily but I'm not obsessively watching it... yet.

Oh man! Now I feel compelled to go back and recalculate my grades AGAIN. Like I haven't done it a million times. Knowing would be really nice, so that we're not waiting in mid-late March wondering if we're not hearing anything because we don't get an interview or because we messed up a grade calculation.

Oh well, technically we could be hearing something in three weeks! Does anyone know when they usually released interview results, is it more the middle or the end of March?
