Hi there, like others have said it did feel quiet and not loud and busy like i thought it would have, though do agree that the sun prob had something to do with it. However i would still love to be accepted there as everyone is so friendly and helpfull.
I suppose all we can do is sit and wait:? with our fingers x

Aww no worries! I've had a fab weekend and I was meant to blog my first week of placement on here over the weekend ha!

Ah that's great news though! Totally exciting stuff.

I know how you feel! I thought I hadn't started my personal statement but I did so that is good news for me but I still need it looking at so I don't think I'll get an application in for Salford! Plus thinking about preceptorships and training, June 2012 is a little soon after qualifying to get the experience I want so I can get my IV and cannulation training etc that I want. Aww that's sweet, really kind! My fingers are crossed for you too! I'd love to have my first choice as well, it'll work perfectly if that goes to plan!

Woo, I might see you there then! Did you do that on UCAS? That's soo good! You've got a great set of universities there, you are bound to get into a fair few of them. It really does sound exhausting! That's a crazy list but all the best and keep in touch via here :) xxx

    Hiya,

I may be wrong? But I thought you had to be working as a nurse and met prep requirements, which are to have worked for 450 hours as a nurse?

I have applied recently, I am a nurse from a surgical ward for 7 months? Midwifery is my future career path but I personally wanted to gain a good foundation knowledge.

    Hiya girls!

Yeah I applied quite late, the closing date was 4th november? I took my application to salford and was told that interview would be after xmas? I'm confuse too now lol I didn't know they took newly qualifieds on but hey why not! I was under the impression you had to be employed already at the trust? I must be wrong. Anyway good luck I will let you know xx

The original closing date was 12th oct. I didn't even know they had extended the closing date until suzi bee told me. Fingers crossed we hear soon xx
