Scottish 2012 hopefuls

Since D-Day is finally here I thought I'd start a wee thread for those of us who just weren't meant to be SMs in 2011, but 2012 had better watch out for us! Of course those who did make it or switched to AN are also welcome, as is everyone! We were on such a rollercoaster together, I'd hate to lose touch with any of you, and those lucky enough and fabby enough to have got in better tell us your stories (AN stories too!)... So, why don't we start by telling each other our plans? I'm going to enrol in Higher Human Bio night class at my local college. Can't commit to anything full time as there are auxiliary positions coming up in September at my maternity placement so hopefully will be in with a good shot at that even though LOADS apply apparently. Can't be any worse than what we've just been through eh! Will fiddle with my PS just to link skills to role of mw better. It's hard to know what to change with no feedback on it. It's been a really rough 7ish months for me since applying so I don't think I'll be concentrating on my app as much this year as it really is a painful process (she says now...we taking bets on whether I'll be a trackaholic again come the end of September?) xxx

I'll join your shiny fresh thread Binky even though it will be 2013 before I'm applying for 2014!! That is IF the conversion makes a comeback.

I' ve been telling myself Que sera while waiting to hear back from Napier, and feel incredibly lucky to have a place for this year. We'll be keeping the seats warm for your arrival next year......

Hey Wozza Your Hull interview sure did come around fast! How time flies...Funding could be a deciding factor, would you get help with any of them? Thank goodness for ILA from my point of view because I'll be signing on as of next month when my course finishes, yuk.

2012 is going to be our year!!

Im gutted i didnt get in this year but im sooo proud i got interviews at all my choices including cale!
Im going to spend this year saving, getting more experience and doing some college courses to beef up my application for sept.

2012 will be a better year for me. Ill have more savings therefore can move away if needs be.
My first little nephew is due in July so ill be able to spend time with him! Also going to New York, plus lots of other fun things planned so this time next year will come around in no time!

Can anyone confirm for me again what uni's are doing the course next year in scotland?!
