Thanks for the info re volunteering. I will look into that. I did an SVQ Level 3 in child care and education about 5 years ago but that is probably my most recent. I have higher biology, is it just repeating to do human biology do you think:?

Well, getting started on beefing up my app for September- looking fairly likely that I may manage to shadow a midwife for a wee bit, and am going to a Samaritans volunteer sesh in June- figure that giving support, advice and using fab listaning/communication skills may look good on my app?
Feeling okay about not getting in this year. I have much to be thankful for and I wont waste this time either, Im determined to put together a good PS and fingers crossed I'll at least get an interview next year!

rockergirl I would speak to Napier as some unis like to see evidence of recent study (3-5yrs I think) and I would ask them about Human Bio too

koala you sure can Sounds like you're all organised too, and your ps will rule this year, we'll make sure of it!

I'm pretty sure they don't count human bio and biology highers as seprate quals as there is a lot of crossever course content.

Hiya, I'll join this thread too I'm pretty sure that I'm going to apply for Radiography next year but you never know, maybe once it gets closer to having Baby Bumble I'll get mega obsessed and apply again! Binky what were the reasons that UWS gave again?? Was it the not offering conditional places?? There is a girl on the UCAS site that has a conditional and it's on her getting 1 'C' at higher xx
