When you apply for your student loan, if you get a letter stating that your entitlement is £0.00 -

Tell them [IMG] loud, clear and confidently that they are WRONG!

I do not want to see our 2010 SM's go through the worry and heartache that some of the 2009 SM's struggled with.

You ARE entitled to a student loan, even after previous study as your bursary is means tested.

Don't let them fob you off! Be tough and tell them Pudge will come over there and [IMG] if they don't pull their fingers out!.

a thread where our splended Growlie was in tears trying to sort this - I don't want you to go through the same unnecessary troubles! [IMG]

    Good luck to you :clover:

You want the basic non means tested loan from direct.gov and a means tested bursary from nhs bursaries and yes they pay your tuition fees

So just to be clear for me! do we have to accept the basic loan or can we go on through the loan application to see if we can get more for like Childcare? Or is that when it goes on to a big NO NO??

The basic loan is just that...the basic loan only. I played around with allsorts on it and submitted it by accident and still got the basic loan.
Apply for the childcare via the bursary, not the loan x
