Could I just put a provisio that this may be true for English students (no idea for Scottish) but Welsh students aren't eligible for the loan

i have a question... on the student finance application, i know i dont need a loan to cover tuition fees but with the NHS bursary can i still apply for the maintanance LOAN or can i only apply for the maintanance GRANT? i know its non-means tested but i dont know if its the grant or loan i want!
Help would be appreciated! need to send it off! x

Yes you can still apply for the maintenence loan, from the details you give I *think* they then assess automatically if you're entitled to a maintenance grant.

You want the loan- the grant is the means tested bit.

As for evidence of the bursary application, just say you can't provide evidence. Mine went through fine with that, I can't imagine why they would need it as the amount has no bearing on what loan you get.
