I don't have a question, but I just wanted to say that when I read your book, the passion you so obviously have for midwifery brought me to tears at times. Your book excited me because, like yourself, I'm from an ordinary family, I start my degree this September and it just made me feel that I have the ability to make a real difference to women and their families. It's made me all the more determined to work hard and do my best for every single woman I work with. Thankyou so much for writing down your experiences for us to share x

have they stopped the 18months entry of midwifery ? as i perosnally think it is a bit too much to 6 years to become a nurse and then a midwife ! although on the other hand it is great experience and greater opportunities x
