No clue but watching with great interest! I just read Midwyf which is 14th century and was an eye opener, hopefully this one should be somewhere in the middle x

Immense doesn't sound good. Maybe she is being sick because she has developed an infection? How is her pulse and does she feel hot? Or just the progression of the labour making her sick

I haven't read this would you ensure she is well hydrated with fluids if she is vomitting? Like giving her a glass of water? Know that possible it could be a no as normally a woman would have a drip if she was dehydrated x

if I'd thought about it earlier I'd have deleted the old thread ages ago (although have to say I didn't realise people still went through the old ones)

Apparently the lady in question was a big baby herself - so her family so have a habit of big babies without problems

I started reading through them from the beginning during the summer hols as I never had time while at college and found them intimidating when I first joined so steered clear for ages. Idiot! Didn't get through many so have still to read most of them! I did start with the oldest so maybe have read this but can't remember a thing x

I steered clear for ages too, as I was intimidated as well. Been looking through over the last few weeks, and the old threads are a really useful resource. Thanks for all the time you have put in to them Iolaus
