    Wow I wasn't mad thinking a bloody show might be new to Janet!

    Tough call now though, even a multip can have a long latent phase and can contract irregularly for days. I think I'd have a cup of tea with Janet amd Peter and stay for an hour or so, see just how irregular those contractions are and take it from there, if they get closer together I would stick around, if not I'd go home and get some sleep and advise peter and janet the same.

    I tend to agree with Iris. Stay for a little bit to see what happens, but then make your way home. It could be days before anything starts to really happen. Let Peter know when to come and get you (regular contractions, ROM, anything abnormal) and arrange a time to come back and see how things are.

    Would anyone VE just in case?

    Past Quiz Winner
    What have previous births been like? I'd be too afraid to leave unless I lived close by, don't trust her...I know it won't all necessarily happen super fast but I'm kipping on the floor if she lets me lol. Plus if it comes on quick and Peter has to come get me is she then left alone with no-one but the kids? How old are they?x

    As pain relief/medication has been given I would stay to maintain regular obs on mother and baby.

    What is that? Something like a sedative type thing? Like Temazepam? Or am I wrong? ha.

    As she has been given medication I would also like to stay? Not sure if that would have been the case in the 1937?
