    The days are run by Josie and Annie, who with their combined HR experience are ideally placed to help support you to realise your own potential. They are supported by trained EDGE consultants who are Midwives or students themselves so there is also opportunity to gain a valuable insight in to the Midwifery courses and the career itself.

    They do one in Cardiff hun I went to that one from Manchester and its walking distance from the station x

    I live in between rochdale Halifax n burnley so Manchester or Leeds would be a great venu but nothing ever comes up near to me :-(

    Totally agree!

    I used the EDGE service to guide me in the right direction with my personal statement and secured 2/3 interviews.

    I then went to the prepare day in Cardiff with Ashlee and Redmumma and had offers from the two universities I had my interviews with...one of which only had 16 places on offer.

    I can't reccommend the edge services enough and because of SMNET I am now preparing to study midwifery at my first choice Uni this September!

    Anyone who is passionate about midwifery I would strongly advise to attend a prepare for interview training day because you will learn so much which will ultimately help answer your interview questions with confidence...key in bagging yourself a place :)

    Good luck to everyone applying for 2013...I hope your dreams of becoming midwives come true xxxxx

    I'd love to go but am in a similar position to others, would cost hundreds on a train to get there and back from oop North. If there were any Manchester/Liverpool/Yorkshire, even Midlands, I'd snap it up! :) I'll keep an eye out for a Cardiff day as that will be doable, if a long day ;)
