Many apologies for the mega delay in the quiz results this month - I have had no internet, and the PMs from our intrepid team of markers were in my account - which I couldn't get to - argh! Thank you all for your patience

I thought this months quiz was fabulous - really interesting questions, and as ever we had some unique and fab answers showing a good breadth and range of knowledge.

Thanks go as always to Elsevier for the prizes, and to our lovely SMNET quiz team - thank you all for your help, we couldn't have quiz night without you

In first place, with a humongously whopping 39 points, and winning £100 of Elsevier books along with the quiz winners trophy for the month is Auntie Patches

Second place, winning £70 of books and a runner up trophy was Fleurlur on 31 points

Hot on her heels in third place, with 31 points was Starrlamia, who takes a runner up trophy and £30 of books

There were a lot of entries just outside of the prizes, within a point or two - so honourable mention goes to priory4jz, sunny, potbella, elliotsmum, tequila and kitchiekobo

I'll be in touch with the winners within a day or so to let you know how to claim your prizes - I'm out to lunch today due to the sad and solemn occasion of my 40th birthday - eek!
