Hi Golden Retriever, all my correspondence with Northumbria for my interview came via email and info posted out and then track updated. If I remember rightly you have to accept the interview via track and then my offer came through is track with an email stating your track status has been updated!!

I've my fingers crossed for everyone and can't wait to find out who'll be joining me x

Thanks so much for the response littlekitten, great to know that if you have something that needs answering then there is usually someone to help! It will be great to 'know' people who will be starting the course at the same time - when we all get in! Not long to hear now hopefully. PMA!

I don't know if anyone else has seen this but just noticed Northumbria havet their interview dates up on the website...

Successful candidates who are called for interview will be invited to one of the following dates:
    14 December 2011
    9 January 2012
    9 February 2012
    12 March 2012

that's pretty much the same dates as last year.. teesside usually have their first lot within a couple of days of northumbria's, hence they usually notify people around the same time. so glad i have my new job to help distract me a bit this week, otherwise i'd go out of my mind! having said that, i probably still will anyway lol. i didn't apply to leeds last year - ive only chucked it in the mix this year for potential interview experience.. though tbh i'm pretty sure i'll be getting a straight rejection because of my quals anyway - i have full distinctions in my access, but i only got a D in my science GCSE 10 years ago & i think that is one of their demands. I had a confusing chat with an Admissions lady at Teesside Uni today. I asked her when we would find out if we had interviews or not, and she said hopefully as soon as possible in November as they like to give people two weeks or ideally a months notice for the first interviews in early December. She asked for my UCAS number and then said that they hadn't actually received my app from UCAS yet, although I sent it at the end of September! She said that UCAS sent the apps in batches and had a bit of a backlog :?

    That's frustrating...

I know mine has been received by my other three choices as I've had confirmation. But nothing from Teeside yet.

i haven't heard anything from teesside either & my app was sent within an hour of UCAS opening lol.. teesside's first interview date is usually the 16th(ish) of december.. they started giving out unsuccessfuls in oct last year, but left it a good few weeks before interview invites were sent out so i reckon we are looking at mid-nov before people start hearing about interviews.
