You poor old sausage!! I had that once, it started on a friday night on bank holiday weekend, I felt terrible for a couple of days but got better by the time the docs went back to work. Keep feeding the bubbas from it and stroke it towards the nipple. Hope you feel better soon XXX
  2. Please go to the Docs kerri, I had it and tried to ignore it and it gradually got worse and worse and ended very badly. It's worth getting the antibiotics hun xxx

I ended up going out of hours docs at hospital yesterday as I developed the pink 'blotch' associated with mastitis, just felt achey and sore. Got my antibiotics and have been feeling so poorly since then, sickness and nausea, migraine, aches and pains all over my back and shoulders feverish, not been able to eat and sweating profusely as well as tiredness :( lucky I got them when I did as soon after was feeling very very ill..i'm now at my mums :) and getting taken care of feeling a lot better right now I honestly would rather give birth again than feel this way it has been horrible x

hope you're better soon, anti b's always seem to make me feel worse before better - mastitis not fun! my sis had it and when showering and running hot water over breast for relief she noticed a flake of skin on her nipple (right on the tip) when she peeled it off she said the milk really jetted out and she could feel the drop in pressure immediately. Not usually so straightforward I know but it may be worth a quick exfoliate! finger's crossed it eases off soon
