Reaction: Immense shock as I've only got 4 days notice until I start!!! It was supposed to be for 2013 entry but I got asked if I wanted to start next week so I'm still trying to get my head around it. I'm now fretting about sorting out finance, CRB checks, occupational health etc. So, so excited to start though! I'm now proceeding to ring round the family!

Reaction: Shouted 'OH MY GOD' out loud on the train - then got off the train to call my boyfriend, friends and family. Didn't believe it until I got the letter in the post.

Reaction: Got the UCAS update, was in middle of having tea with my housemate. Thought my interview hadn't gone that well. I was ill! and I'm sure my maths test went terribly...but I did spend 3 months with rural midwives in Central America so thought I might stand a chance. Anyway...got my computer...opened the tracker thinking my tea was going to be ruining by a big *** U! only to find a CONDITIONAL offer!!! I SCREAMED...for quite some time!!!! 6 years of wanting to be a midwife has really paid off!!!! I'M GOING TO BE A MIDWIFE!!!!!!
