    Loved this, especially the second one. The gowns and masks after that were a bit :( but even worse was the last clip. Poor baby being dragged out like that.

    Can anyone tell me why the hell the obstetrician tucked a gauze swab under the baby's head in the last one?? Struck me as tres bizarre!

    Love the idea of a hands off delivery and watching the ladies catch the babies were great, as was the partner delivering the baby!

    in the last one it looks like mums bum is hanging off the end of the bed, in which case i suppose 'hands on' would be important so baby is fully supported and doesnt drop to the floor. x

    I have an interview on 8th March. I have to choose a contemporary issue relating to midwifery practice or maternity service provisions. I was thinking of debating the hands on / off approaches to childbirth and the pros and cons with each method... What do you ladies think?
