    Thanks for sharing this video it’s wonderful. I think it’s called a caul birth and it meant to be lucky. Not sure how common it is though.

    Hi my youngest was born in his caul, was fantastic. Old wives tale is to sell the membranes to a sailor for good luck. My midwife gave them to me, although afraid they have gone a bit mouldy now. It was an amazing experience for me and the student midwife that was present xx
