    Hi,

I'm just making sure I have everything I need but, no doubt, I'll have forgotten something pretty obvious. Have a look over my 'got' list and let me know if there's anything else I need (except for books)....

    A4 pads
    document folders
    A4 dividers
    tippex
    pens
    highlighter pens
    coloured pens
    stapler & staples
    hole punch
    post-it notes
    academic diary
    journal (for placement notes)

I've still to get a bag and folders (debating whether I should go for the flexi-folders or lug a big lever arch around).

Have I missed anything obvious guys?

Quite a few people suggest a pen drive so you can copy stuff from home/uni pcs etc.....saves you lugging laptops about.

oh excellent! never thought of some of that.

I think I'll hold off on the shoes till I find out if they need to be a certain colour, etc

I've found the fob watch I fancy too

Thinking ahead to placement - a really good alarm clock (loud), black pens (no lids that fall off), a VE guide (free from various websites), a good midwifery dictionary, Smints/Tic tacs or similar for your pocket to 'ahem' subtly take the edge off, spare black tights, maybe a pair of Crocs (the ones that are closed with no holes - for hygiene and health and safety) for theatre - but regulations about these vary so check, plenty of hair bands to tie your hair back...

Actually probably my most useful purchase has been a blackout blind so I can sleep on nights (i.e. days) lol

Great idea muchhope! deff need a pen drive, also i got some great pens that rub out, great for when you are doing exams etc.. getting so excited looking at a stationary list lol
Im thinking of getting an ipad so I can download all my books.
There is an app that you can get for taking notes you just use a special pen with it as I really cant face carting heavy bags around all the time but I might need to wait until christmas for that if my last wage dosent stretch!!
