I guess that in hypovolemic shock that the woman would've bled significantly to put her into that state and once the shock was treated and cause of bleeding that it would settle down to normal.
The sickness i think is something to do with peristalsis slowing but i'm not sure. Someone will probably give you a far better answer than me.
Edit to say that on googling the thing on peristalsis might not be right as apparently it's the movement in the abdomen that's supposed to cause sickness not the slowing down of it.

I wouldn't have thought that it would have an effect on the lochia as that is the decidua shedding and doesn't have much to do with the woman's main circulation. Not sure about the sickness.

That's just a guess though, not based on actual fact or anything!

From my experience, I have seen a woman go into Hyov Shock, having lost 4 liters of blood, but she went into shock because of how much she lost naturally. So I don't think hypov Shock effects your Lochia, I think the amount of Lochia u loose is what determins if your body goes into shock as Lil miss sunshine has said.

The sickness is in relation to the drop in BP during a massive haemorrhage (and possibly due to the drugs we'd pump into someone to stop them bleeding in the case of a PPH).

A PPH is caused by a bleed from the placental site, which is why blood loss is so massive in such a short time period, as blood flow tot he placenta is large. So the lochia, which is the shedding of the decidua, wouldn't be affected as such, as it's a different kind of bleed.
