    Hi ladies!

The agency I work for is local to me (staffordshire). It's family run and we get treated well.

I had no experience when I applied. I had been a beauty therapist for 9 years. To be honest I think there were a few people there that thought I'm a dolly bird and I wouldn't last five minutes. Haha love proving people wrong!

I've recieved fabulous feedback from the clients and many compliments from other staff members about how well I do the job. Every exam I have taken I've passed with 100% - that showed the senior carer who asked me if I was clever enough to go to uni!!! How rude!!

I do any training and certificates the company offer me.
Just keep applying ladies and the right one will come up.

    Good luck xx

That's fab hun. It's always good when you prove people wrong. Love seeing their faces

How's it going? Anyone else thinking how surreal it is that we should be applying soon. ARGH!

Hi there, I am currently doing an access course and going to apply to UWE, Plymouth, Bournmouth for adult nursing. I have done care work since leaving school and currently work in a residential home for the elderly. Most of them have dementia. I work nights as it fits in well with my family. I have a 5 year old boy, a 6 year old girl and a 17 year old who is doing her A levels and will get to uni at the same time as me!

    Hi everyone :)
I have received all my U's for midwifery so have decided to go down the Adult nursing route instead. At the mo i work as a care worker in a retirement village and i am doing the access course 1 evening a week. I volunteered at my local hospital for a while but there wasn't enough hours in the day to carry on! :(
