Natal hypnotherapy recognizes the importance of providing training to midwives, and so have planned a series of introductory study days to the techniques and benefits of Hypnotherapy for pregnancy and birth.

• The power of language and its effect on a pregnant woman
• Effective use of language in the birthing room
• Relaxation and visualisation techniques
• Key factors in supporting women who use Natal Hypnotherapy

Please note that Natal Hypnotherapy is NOT the same as HypnoBirthing which is a very specific approach to hypnotherapy for birth created in the US. The Natal Hypnotherapy approach has been developed in the UK alongside the UK maternity system and does NOT advocate pain free labour or the need to use different words during labour. In the UK over 25,000 women have benefited from using the techniques and over 2000 midwives recommend the techniques to women.

This prize is worth £40 for Students and £70 for RMs and teachers

The day includes:-

• Course manual and handouts

I went to one of these last month and they're fab- a real eye opener. Was skeptical at first but they show you real, practical ways to integrate the apporaches in to your practice.
