    May 5th is International Day of the Midwife and to celebrate a study day has been organised to share knowledge and raise money for White Ribbon Alliance.

    As this years theme is "The World Needs Midwives Now More Than Ever" fund-raising for an organisation such as WRA is a perfect way to raise awareness about the importance of midwives.

    Every minute of every day, a woman dies of pregnancy related complications, totalling more than one half million women each year, and WRA are trying to change that!

    The day will be held at the University of Surrey in Guildford and will be from 11am-5pm.
