Default Race for Life

I do this every year, I gather a bunch of pals, family and work mates and its a really good day out for a great cause. The first year I trained to run it but after seeing all the people there with 'I race for life for my mum who passed with cancer' I just held my mums hand all the way round and had a lovley chat about my nan and uncle who passed from cancer, it was a really special morning. The year after I got my aunt and her girls involved and now its like a annual family event and we raised over £1000 between us last year.

If you fancy giving it a go have a look here...

Get involved in 2008

Please accept our invitation and register your interest today.

Invite your friends to join you

Why not extend the invitation to take part in Race for Life 2008 to your family, friends and colleagues?

The more women we can encourage to enter and raise money, the more we can contribute to Cancer Research UK’s life-saving work.

Default Re: Race for Life

I took part in this one year with my daughter, and I have to say we had a great time.

Sadly due to work, shifts, uni etc we haven't done it since, but I keep it in mind as something maybe I can do next time, maybe with some of my cohort at uni.

Congrats on raising so much money TallPoppy, and for such a worthwhile cause too.

Pauline xx
