Default Favourite childhood sweets?

I was just having a browse on ebay and have bought some sweets I absolutely loved when I was little, but got told off for eating haha!

Aniseed balls and black jack chews!! OoOo I loved them soooo much, tasted fab!

Just wondered if anyone else had sweets they loved from when they were little?

hmm, yes, black jacks and fruit salads.

Pear drops, rhubarb and custards, cola cubes. The necklaces with sweets on and watches too! yum!

Flying saucers, still my favourite!

sugar paper, sugar mice, allsorts, cola bottles,

Dad used to work away all week as a lorry driver, he used to come home every friday with a bag of penny sweets. Mum used to buy us 20p worth on the way home form school each friday too, so we could choose from the pennies or buy a 1/4 pound of something. Ahhh. I rmember the little paper bags and them spinning them to wrap the corners!

There are loads, I love sweets

ARGH!!!!

Wham bars!! OMG! yes, they were fab. I have seen them in some shops that do little sweet things, they are so tiny now though, they used to be massive didn't they?

Great thread, will be off to the shops any minute!

Also love

Sherbet lemons ~(although too many and the roof of your mouth goes lie one!)

Sherb fountains (though hate the liquorice, yuk!)

sherbet dibdabs, lots of sherbet, yum!
