Default Baby Gift Ideas

I would like to buy Tegan-Lucy a gift, but no idea what. I know I don't want to buy something she'll wear once, I don't want to buy her a tatty rattle. I want a really nice gift for her and a really nice gift for mum.

Mum is breastfeeding, not sure if that would give any other ideas.

Ive seen a bouquet of baby clothes being preented to mums, they look like flowers and when you look closer they are beautiful baby clothes rolled into the shape of flowers. Stunning stuff but rather unhelpfully I cant remember who distributes them!! Anyone recall who the company are?

I still have the tiny silver bracelet a friend bought for my daughter when she was born - she's 7 now and is fascinated that it used to fit aound her wrist. For mum I'd buy something feminine and girly, like nice smellies or perfume or something. Or a voucher for a facial or a massage or a pedicure

I'm a huge fan of getting new moms yummy lotions and creams. Seems like I tend to just sit around in sweats for a few days (weeks?) after my babies are born, and something that is soothing for my skin and yummy smelling can really help me feel good. I love Earth Mamma Angel Baby products, but I'm not sure where to send you to find it in the UK. I'll do a google search. Their products are natural and perfect for new moms and babies!

Indulgent bubblebath for mum is a great idea, a friend of mine gave me a bottle after I had my first baby and it was pure bliss to relax in the tub after a long day- sometimes the baby would come in the bath with me.
As for the newest member to your family; one of the best presents I was given for my babies was a book of classic childrens stories, on the inside of the front cover some beautiful and inspiring words had been written by my friend- something my daughter can always keep.
Another great gift was an engraved photo frame, with babies name and d.o.b on it.
I'm sure whatever you buy will be appreciated.
