oooh i love Iris too, classic song-
"and i'd give up forever to touch you, coz i know that you feel me some how, you're the closest to heaven, that i'll ever be, and i don't want to go home tonight, and all i can taste is this moment, and all i can breathe is your life, when sooner or later its over, i just dont want to miss you tonight...." SOB! I also love quite an unknown band- Lifehouse- their song 'Broken' was used in quite a moving episode of grey's anatomy and is really beautiful- and sends out the message to hold on, and is good to listen to after a bad day "i'm falling apart, i'm barely breathing, with a broken heart, that's still beating, in the pain, is there healing, in your name, i find meaning, i'm holding on..." this is really interesting by the way, keep posting! x

[quote=Norman;46610]Got to be Athlete - 'wires' came out about a year after my girls were born - a very difficult time for me - played it full volume - singing at the top of my voice - crying all the way through - on a loop for about a month - bet the neighbours just loved me!!
But it was also about a baby with heart problems! and summed it up perfectly - plus we had another baby in another hospital . It helped me work through a lot of issues I don't hear it very often now - but it can still reduce me to tears if I'm not expecting it - if you know what I mean .OMG!!! Ditto - I heard this a couple of weeks after my Prem baby was born, was in the car at the time and had to pull over cos I was sobbing so much!!! xxx
