Hi All
I need someone to shake me up/knock some sence into me!!! ![]() Everyone on here must know by now i'm on the reserve list lol, but the wait is really starting to affect me I've been waiting patiently since feb!And now the end of august is nearly here, I can't concentrate on anything My house needs a really good seen to, as I've let the washing just pile up, but I just look at it and can't be bothered. I just keep figuring out dates in my head and bla bla bla. Ahhhhhh !!! I'm not sleeping properly in the nights now either so when the day comes I'm knackered![]() I need a kick up the backside and hoping you girls can do this for me lol!! as I can't seem to. The funny thing is though my hubby just comes home from work and cracks on with the housework!! and its not fair on him, he don't say anything but I just don't want him to start resenting me. I used to be really particular with my house, I am waiting to move to and I am waiting patiently too for this, so this don't help either ![]() Someone please give me a shaking ![]() cheers!!

Hey Carla!
Ok, first of all, Im sorry to hear uni have kept you waiting this long. I know its unfair but sometimes we can't change these things and just have to get on with it. I was on the reserve list for a while, but I got in and so can you! Ring the uni, find out whats going on, show your still interested. Secondly we're no where near the end of august, I wish we were then I could go on holiday hehe. But seriously don't wish your life away. It's not fair on you or your husband. Keep yourself busy, that helps me when I can't concentrate. Start a new hobby, go for walks, do the ironing, do your christmas shopping! Anything that takes your mind of it for a while. You'll drive yourself potty if all you do is nothing. I wish you the best of luck and hope you get in this year. If not then don't worry there's always next year, and in the meantime enjoy yourself and your hubby! Now go and do something useful m'dear or i'll come and kick you into gear! ![]()

I'll be honest. On you reserve list guys I think its hardest. Your wait is trung out the longest and everyone who has applied and only had the normal wait which can still be months will know exactly how you feel.
The way to get through is to think 'what will be will be', hard I know, but the alternative is you end stark raving mad and fall to bits. Keep talking to us on here and that will help, I promise Huge hugs xx

Glad you are feeling better Carla!
I think the wait is definately hardest on you guys, the uncertainty is so difficult for you guys, big hugs to you. I don't feel like doing much normally, if I make myself I usually can't stop! and it will take your mind off things! SO when you are done sorting out your house, please feel free to sort out mine? Ta

I know just how hard this wait is, and it is so hard to put it out of your mind.
My advice would be to keep busy doing whatever, as long as you are occupied it is a bit easier. That is what I found worked for me. This time last year I didn't have a place, and now I am one signature away from finishing year one. Good luck, and i hope you get good news real soon, I have everything crossed for you.
