For me was the shock of having to write an essay again after 16 years!!!

I felt fine as a mature student and really enjoyed it and actually remembered stuff that I had been taught in school. I made some lovely friends and really enjoyed the challenge. Having to be more organised was definately worth the results and for preparing for University.

The best bits ... meeting new people, making friends, learning, reading books, going to the library, mental stimulation, assignments, presentations, science experiments, getting out of the house, feeling like a real person (instead of just a mummy!), adult conversation, personal sense of achievement, excitement about the future, helping others, getting into Uni, getting that piece of paper at the end!!

The worst bits ... exams and the holidays.

Hope you enjoy it as much as I did! Good luck,

Clare XX

Best bit, meeting new friends and feeling of accomplishment at the end lol

Worst bit, at the end trying to revise for exams whilst doing end of year projects and assignments ouch, they all seemed to snowball into each other towards the end!!

Best bits getting grade that I never expected!!
meeting lots of new people,
there where lots and lots of best bits to be honest......I have to say though the best bit of the whole course was the END..lol

the worst bits was the amount of work need with in really short periods of time, access is quite stressfull but extreamly worth it...

there are defo more best bits than worst bits

If you are about to start access in september, I wish you luck and hold on to your hat because it flys bye. x x

Yes ours did but I thoroughly enjoyed it. The sense of achievement at the end was great. Worst bit was waiting for a reply from uni whilst having to continue with assignments. The most intense part was when we had 9 assignments outstanding at one time. (But I'd do it again - luckily I don't have to)

Have made some really great friends who will always be friends, even though I won't be studying with any of them.

Thank you for all your comments. I have my interview for the access course this afternoon and have the gippy tummy and haven't slept very well. I just know how much this means to me and I don't want to screw it up.

I am sure everything will be fine......fingers x'd
