UNICEF - Born Free from HIV Campaign

Join the campaign to ensure that all babies have the chance to be Born Free from HIV.

UNICEF wants to:

Prevent almost 500,000 babies being born with HIV each year, passed on by their mother during pregnancy, labour or delivery.
Address the global shortage of over 4 million health workers so that pregnant women have access to the medical care which will prevent mother to child transmission of HIV (PMTCT).
Ensure that the funding needed to achieve universal access to PMTCT programmes by 2010 is delivered.
