Default Just saying Hi

Hi
My name is Heidi and I am a wannabe midwife!!!
I was previously a midwifery student in 2000 but was discontinued after 2yrs for being referred twice on an assignment :-( I was devastated.
I am in the process of applying again and have spoken to The NMC and they have said it is up to the individual institution whether i can be accepted so fingers crossed!!! The only problem is i have a large young family so can only apply to 2 uni's near to home....
Trying hard to stay positive and don't want you all to think I am a big fat moaner!!!!!!
I am currently training to be a La Leche League leader and studying for the IBLCE exam which is an international recognised breastfeeding qualification.
Really glad to be here!!!
Love
Heidi

Hi Heidi,

Welcome to the site, hope you enjoy being here.

So sorry to hear that you were discontinued last time, and really hope you get a place this time round.

Hey Heidi

Welcome! And well done to you for sticking at getting back on the course! We'll give you all the help we can on here.

Would love to hear more about your la leche work and the IBLCE qualification, perhaps post about your experience in the student midwives discussion forum?
